Kirsten is a seasoned Construction Financial Controller with more than 20 years of experience leading accounting operations, strengthening financial systems, and partnering with executives to advance organizational strategy. She specializes in GAAP-compliant financial reporting, FP&A, cash management, and building high-performing teams.

Known for her deep technical expertise in databases, sub-ledgers, and advanced reporting, Kirsten brings broad industry experience across both specialty and general contractors. Over the past 15 years, she has worked at the intersection of construction, systems, and finance, partnering with small business owners and leading teams to turn complex requirements into practical, people-centered solutions. She is especially passionate about building systems that truly work for the people using them, fostering collaboration, and aligning strategy with meaningful impact.

At D+H, Kirsten plays a key leadership role in strengthening our financial foundation as we continue to grow. She oversees accounting operations and financial reporting, supports project and job cost visibility, helps refine internal controls and systems, and partners closely with operations and leadership to deliver clear, timely financial insight that supports decision-making across the company.
