In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to help keep projects moving from preconstruction through closeout. You will support project documentation, communication, coordination, and follow-through across both office and field activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, logs, and closeout documentation
- Reviewing plans and specifications to support scope clarity and identify potential constructability issues
- Supporting subcontractor coordination and project communication
- Visiting jobsites regularly to understand field conditions and help surface issues early
- Assisting with as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and final turnover materials
- Helping the team stay organized, aligned, and accountable throughout the project lifecycle
This position has room for growth and is ideal for someone interested in expanding their career in construction project management.
- 1+ year of experience in construction project engineering, project coordination, or construction management
- Â Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project or similar tools
- Bay Area local with the ability to visit jobsites regularly
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in affordable housing, multifamily, rehabilitation, or community-oriented construction
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
- Field experience
- Degree or vocational training in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related area
