PATH Villas at Fourth Street

PATH Villas at Fourth Street is a new, four-story affordable senior housing development in San Jose’s Civic Center neighborhood. Developed by PATH Ventures, the project delivers 94 supportive housing units — including 65 studios, 28 one-bedrooms, and one two-bedroom manager’s unit — for seniors 55+ who were formerly homeless.

The scope of work includes:

• Demolition of the previous site structure and full site redevelopment
• Construction of a new building with elevators, secure entries, and modern building systems
• Interior finishes and unit amenities (appliances, HVAC, private balconies)
• Community spaces including a teaching kitchen, community room, supportive services offices, and conference room
• Outdoor amenities: landscaped courtyard, community gardens, outdoor lounge, and pet-friendly areas
• Bicycle parking and surface parking for residents

This development supports San Jose’s vision for ending homelessness among seniors by converting underutilized land into safe, dignified, and sustainable housing.
