Vern is a highly experienced superintendent with more than three decades of work across multifamily housing, senior living, supportive housing, ground-up construction, substantial rehabilitation, and complex occupied-rehab environments. His background includes leadership roles where he managed field operations, site supervision, subcontractor coordination, safety programs, and quality control for a wide range of projects—from large family podium developments and senior housing communities to modular installations, community centers, trailer-park rehabilitations, and award-winning affordable housing. Vern began his career in framing and carpentry before advancing into inspection, project management, and company-wide construction operations, giving him a rare depth of technical and practical expertise.

At D+H, Vern brings steady leadership, deep construction knowledge, and a solutions-oriented approach to every jobsite. He oversees day-to-day field operations, sequencing, safety, and subcontractor performance, ensuring projects run efficiently and with high craftsmanship standards. Known for his mentorship, clear communication, and ability to navigate challenging occupied sites and complex scopes, Vern strengthens project teams and delivers reliable results from preconstruction through closeout.
